Fasting
In this ceremony you have the opportunity to be alone for four days without food or water. In return, you will learn to feed on the flights of birds, the song of the wind, the light of a new dawn and the colors of a sunset.

Prayer
You will remain within a circle, a sacred space wrapped in your prayers and filled with pieces of cloth containing tobacco. Each tobacco pouch is a prayer to the Great Spirit through which you will introduce yourself to the spiritual world. You will feel how you are accompanied by your parents, your grandparents and your ancestors during the four days when you ask them to be with you and help you.

Starkilt
You must bring a blanket with an eight-pointed star in the middle. This will be the connection between our prayers in the sweat lodge and your search on the mountain.
You can find out how the prayers are made and what the star should look like on our information sheet at the end of this page.
Vision Quest
Haŋbléčeyapi
(crying for a vision)
“We are those of yesterday, those of today and those of tomorrow.”
The Vision Quest Ceremony is an opportunity to be alone with ourselves to connect with Mother Nature and the Great Spirit.
Since ancient times, mainly in North American traditions, the vision quest has been used to find life's purpose, to find out who we are and where we are going, to reconnect our soul and the Creator, to understand that we are one with the universe and prepare the community for what we are called to do.
Today times have changed, as have we, the elements, the food, and the design of the ceremony is less sophisticated but no less respectful of the original tradition.
This is a family ceremony; Children, adults and elders are welcome, as are pregnant women and babies, each providing for their own needs.
During the 4 days there will be activities and games for children, workshops and exercises for everyone. We will form a small community, cook together for everyone and give strength to those seeking vision!
We are also waiting for you on the days of preparatory work for the camp.
Traditionally, you go on a vision quest four times, going through the medicine wheel once and praying to each direction.
In the first year you introduce yourself to the spiritual world in the East, in the second year you pray for your blood family in the South, in the third year in the West you pray for all relationships and your ancestors, and in the fourth year in the North you pray for yourself.

Respect
Going up the mountain and starting the quest is your decision, not someone else's, so respect yourself, respect your soul and your spirit, respect your path and your breath, respect everything that is not made by man.

Unbiased
Go on the vision quest without expectations, but with hope. Hope that something within you changes for the better. Our prayers and fasting will certainly be heard by the Great Spirit. Join the vision quest without any preconceived ideas. It's better to leave them at home. Walk without anything to distract you so you can listen to the birds singing to the earth.

Time with
Great Spirit
There are many reasons that might make you want to climb the mountain. To thank life, your family, your friends, to give something up to rediscover its value. These are all good reasons.
When you're on the mountain, forget who you are in the world and be yourself. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. You will be alone with your heart, your mind and your prayers before the Creator.

Your helper
Find someone you trust. This person will be your support. She will drink water for you, eat for you, and pray and sweat in the sweat lodge morning and evening to give you the strength to continue your vision quest. We will care for you as you rediscover respect for life and realize that we all belong to this earth and are all part of the universe and the great mystery.

Be a helper
It is important that the support is conscious and present to the entire community, paying attention to all details and being ready to help with any necessary tasks, because the entire community works for the visionaries. The support also learns; she will see her difficulties and will be called upon to do new things; she learns to be in a different state. It's a balance between giving and taking.

Comunity
True prayer is daily and also takes place in community work. We are all prayer, and the ceremony doesn't just begin when we enter the sweat lodge. Getting to know the place, taking care of the place where the ceremony will take place.
Seeing how the family will transform the place for the vision seekers is a gift for the soul.
