Ceremonies

The ceremonies of the roots of the earth all have a uniform sequence. In order to preserve the tradition as powerfully as possible, there are clear processes that are repeated in the various ceremonies.

"As simple as possible", an attempt was made to keep the ceremonies as simple as possible without changing the true essence.

For example, the first round in the sweat lodge, the first day of the vision search, or the first year of the Kiva always represents the East, the new beginning and the prayer to the spiritual world.

The second round is dedicated to the South and the blood family.

In the third round, pray to the West, for all our relationships (ancestors, friends, enemies, all living things, animals, plants, everything that exists). In the fourth round in the north we pray for ourselves.

This teaches us gratitude, humility and not to take ourselves so seriously. Before we pray for ourselves, let us pray for everyone else. Only when we have given something do we ask for what we need.

Due to the clear processes, the energy moves in the same way in all ceremonies. It's easy for us to get involved with what is, and it's a process, a  Medicine wheel that also integrates into our daily lives.

"As simple as possible" was the motto, with the aim of keeping the ceremonies as simple as possible without changing their true essence.

For example, the first round in the sweat lodge, the first day of the vision quest, or the first year of the Kiva always represents the East, the new beginning, and prayer to the spiritual world.

The second round is dedicated to the South and the blood family.

In the third round, we pray facing west, for all our relationships (ancestors, friends, enemies, all living beings, animals, plants, everything that exists). In the fourth round, facing north, we pray for ourselves.

This teaches us gratitude, humility, and not to take ourselves too seriously. Before we pray for ourselves, we pray for everyone else. Only after we have given something do we ask for what we need.

Because of the clear processes, the energy flows in the same way in all ceremonies. It's easy for us to accept what is, and it's a process, a medicine wheel, that also integrates into our daily lives.
